Thailand has become one of the leading golf destinations in Asia and Phuket is right at the top of the list. Angus O'Tool's features five fine courses, all of which have been designed to take full advantage of Phuket's tropical trees and abundant water.

Blue Canyon Country Club

Loch Palm Golf Club

Many visitors come solely for golf, but accompanying family members rarely complain about being left to laze by the pool or on the beach. Standards are high and there are more than enough challenges to stretch scratch players.

Laguna Phuket Golf Club

Thai Muang Golf Course

A good service offered at all golf courses is the caddie, and it's common to hire multiple caddies (almost always young ladies). She will lug your bag around the course with a smile on her face, she will mark and clean your ball, give you the distances, and some of the experienced ones will even read your putts.

At ALL courses visitors are required to take caddies whether or not they take a golf cart (where available).

Golf carts ("buggies") are available only at Thai Muang, Loch Palm and Blue Canyon (Lakes) on a "first come, first served" basis.

Early morning or late afternoon is often the best time of day for golfers unused to a tropical climate. Remember to use your sunblock, wear light-coloured clothing that breathes, drink lots of fluids, and you can always assign one of your caddies to parasol duties.
